My Husband Says, “Get Some Perspective” »

Now, That Is Supportive

Oct 21st, 2009 by heidi

My husband reads this blog. I also blog over at Livejournal, incidentally, and at least THERE I have a “no family” posting option, but not here, alas.

His response to my post flinging myself into the fray of the Frantic Fatosphere Fuss of October 20-21 Nought 9? Reassurance that I’m right? An in-depth discussion of why I’m not? Nay, neither of those things…just a simple:

“You’re right in your post where you say it’s a bit incoherent. Sylvia was wrong when she said it was coherent.”

Thanks, honey. Thanks!

Should my feminist self be outraged? (I kid, I kid!)

He’s a darling. With a husband like that, who needs enemies? 😉

Aww, he’s worth his entertainment value, at least most of the time….

Husbands can be the best supporters around 🙂

I doubt you’d want to hear what I really have to say.

Marianne’s defence of her use of the pejorative is a crock of shit, incidentally. Discuss.

    Agreed.

Hey, at least he’s supportive! (Even if it’s in the non-underwire sort of way.)

Joe just keeps checking with me to make sure I’m not posting all sorts of photos and details about him on my blog, since he isn’t currently using any Internet at all. He just has to trust me when I tell him he’s safe! Muhahahahahaha!

Wait – I’M PISSED. He thinks I’m wrong?

I am SO going to write a reactionary post about this.

    ;p

Sylvia – don’t forget to mention his white male privilege!

Maybe I shouldn’t say that – that is a whole ‘nother can of worms…
