No, indeed, I did not crash (although in the air incident theme that appears to be pervading my week, 35 SU students studying abroad were killed in the Pan Am Lockerbie crash and there’s a very poignant memorial on campus). I’ve been in 9-5 (more like 9 AM to 10/11 PM) intensive classes that have left me without anything either profound or even vaguely interesting to post, even if I had the time to post it.
We have a final class this morning and then an afternoon group poster session…if both of those go well, then this afternoon I will be officially DONE with my on-campus residency and four credit hours of my program. Oh frabjous day!
Then tomorrow two more flights, culminating in a late arrival in Seattle, woo. At least it didn’t mean getting to the airport by 6 AM – there’s not much I hate more than early morning flights.
On verra*, as I used to say in Geneva. On verra.
*We shall see
I can just imagine you saying that with a cute Swiss-American accent.
Anyway, I’m glad you are ok and I look forward to stuff getting back to “normal” for you. I look forward to your posts and have been feeling deprived!
Whew!
Accidents seem to abound lately. They’ve been almost nonstop here in the Detroit area–explosions, fires, massive traffic pile-ups. It almost feels like someone’s out to get us.
Wait, are you doing an MLS or something at SU??
(I’m an SU grad student who’s not in residence….)
Yes – am an MLIS distance student at SU
