5 weird things

Posting 5 odd things about myself:
1. Wool (and that includes those scratchy wool blankets) gives me chills. I don’t wear it and don’t touch it, ever. If polar fleece gets that scratchiness to it I can’t touch it either, and that includes gritting my teeth and shuddering while cuddling Ciaran if he’s wearing fleece jammies. I don’t touch his super-cute-yet-scratchy purple wool jacket (or him while he’s in it, if I can help it).
2. Onions make everyone cry…but they make my eyes water SO much that I can only manage two, max, (possibly three if refrigerated and very small, so easy to cut) before I’m crying so hard that I have to go away and wash out my eyes. I always think of that scene in (the Anne books?) where they were cutting onions to help with croup – I’d have given up long before it helped!
3. I type at 100+ words per minute. The last time I was at a temp agency, I tested at 105 wpm with no errors. When someone is watching me type, I feel like a newbie typist and have to apologize for the number of mistakes I had to backspace away.
4. I cannot gargle.
5. Nails on a chalkboard don’t bother me one whit. A knife cutting through cardboard or styrofoam, on the other hand, makes me want to cry.
Go on, your turn to post your foibles!
Hey your #5 is one that stood out for me because Michael is the same way!!! He can’t STAND the sound of cutting or ripping cardboard but nails on a chalkboard don’t bother him. Funny!!!
