I’ve got a lot of things in the hopper right now. I got a gig as the Philadelphia Autism & Parenting Examiner for Examiner.com and so far that’s been going well and is turning out to be a lot of fun. I can leverage my general knowledge of the area and specific knowledge from being the parent of a child on the autism spectrum to write informative articles.

I’ve also been blogging on professional topics over on my professional site, BethKelleher.com and I’m aiming for roughly a post a week there on various web design, development, usability and other topics of interest to me professionally.

Over here, I’m re-committing to focusing on creative endeavors and I’ve re-worked the WordPress configuration slightly so that I’m using posts as the main form of adding content to the site instead of static links in Pages. Right now, I’ve been sorting through old folders of partially written things and pulling them together into an organized, central repository so that I can readily access all these tidbits of fiction I’ve written in the past 5 years but never pulled together into anything finished.

My next goal is to pick one or two of these tidbits and actually finish them off, get them into manuscript format and start pitching them to various writer’s markets. I have two Young Adult pieces, a couple of sff drabbles, a romance novel and a memoir that could all be focused on for finishing and polishing. Right now, the memoir is sitting up at the forefront of my thoughts and is the likeliest candidate for some expansion.

I’ll write more here as I progress (or don’t).
